Weekend recommendations: Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester United

Real Madrid vs Barcelona : Guardiola has led Barcelona to seven wins and three ties in 11 matches against Real in all competitions. But this weekend the roles have altered. Barcelona’s Pep Guardiola is no longer the cool intellectual looking down on a Machiavellian and desperate Mourinho.

Arsenal vs Everton : With Mikel Arteta now finding his rhythm and pace in the midfield, Arsenal are better organized than what they were at the start of the season. The Gunners will try to celebrate their 125th birthday in style by beating the visitors at the Emirates Stadium today.

Manchester United vs Wolves : The Red Devils will be out for blood after being knocked out of the Champions League and Mick McCarthy’s men could be Wolves to the slaughter. Wolves hot-shot Steven Fletcher looks to be in red-hot form after his brace in Sunday’s 2-1 win against Sunderland took his tally to 11 in 18 league games and 15 in 22 Premier League starts for Wolves. And the £7m club record signing is expected to continue his streak at Old Trafford.
